It is my pleasure to welcome you to our college website. Three thousand students flock each morning to begin yet another day of courses and lectures at Govt. College for Women (Autonomous). The voice of Govt. College for Women (Autonomous) is heard not from some voluminous pages of history but from the ongoing efforts and endeavors of the congregation of Govt. College for Women (Autonomous) to further the cause of women education and thus their empowerment.The college now offers both undergraduate and post graduate courses. Undergraduate courses consist of B.A., B.Sc., B.Com, B.B.M courses with excellent infrastructure and three thousands five hundred and seventy students at the UG and PG level in thirty program options.
The NAAC accredited with ‘A’ grade for the third consecutive time. Academic autonomy was granted to us in 2010 and we crossed a milestone by efficiently conducting examinations and announcing results on time.
